About Us
We are a small family bakery in Leeds and are proud to have just celebrated our 3rd birthday.
The People at EHC
We make exquisite cakes using only the best of ingredients and as you can see we are a happy group who really enjoy providing our customers with our “moreish” handmade cakes.
The majority of our products are made without the use of hydrogenated fats and oils.
Amanda
If you call us on the phone you will more often than not be speaking to Amanda who is our Administrator. Amanda looks after the orders and makes sure that you get deliveries when they have been promised.
Viv
Viv is our MD who started it all and tries to keep the rest of us in order. Viv also looks after the sales and will talk to you about any new projects you may have.
Chris
Chris is our Bakery Manager and he looks after all the production and new product development. He is an experienced baker with 20 years of experience both on board cruise ships and on dry land at well known bakeries. Since joining EHC, Chris has created some exciting cakes and makes sure that only the best ingredients are used.
Chris
Chris is our Business Adviser who helps Viv with Strategic Planning and does his best to make sure the business runs as smoothly as possible. He also makes sure all the staff are trained to the correct standards in Health & Safety and Food Hygiene. He is really the “Godfather” to the business.
Ali
Ali is our Bakery Team Leader, he weighs and mixes ingredients using our traditional recipes before making sure that they are baked to exactly the right temperature. This ensures that our cakes are of a consistent quality.
Rose
Meet our Quality Controller, Rose, who decides if a product is of a high enough standard to be included in our product range. Rose has the final say on setting Quality Standards as one day she intends to take over from Viv running the company.
Agneish
Agneish has been with us since the beginning and is an expert in cake decoration. She also has a really keen eye for quality and doesn’t do second best!
Deshire
Deshire is our Decorating and Packing Team Leader and a part of her role is to make sure that only the best product gets supplied to you.
As you can see our cakes are not mass produced, they are hand made as our name suggests.
